Procera AllCeram combines excellent strength with beautiful esthetics. The material consists of 99.5 percent pure aluminum oxide and is biocompatible, there-by ensuring excellent long-term esthetics. Procera AllCeram is translucent giving the tooth a natural appearance. At the same time Procera AllCeram is excellent for concealing underlying surfaces, such as amalgam and root fillings.

Procera AllCeram is customized but still industrially produced, ensuring predictable results. You quickly try in with minimum adjustments. What's more, Procera AllCeram is easy to work with because you can prepare and cement like an ordinary PFM. All this saves valuable chair time.

Procera AllCeram is also proven durable. Procera conducts clinical studies on a continuing basis, and we now have up to ten years of clinical documentation. Thanks to this we know that the long-term properties of Procera AllCeram are as proven as PFM restorations.

Since Procera AllCeram was introduced in 1994, two million units have been produced.

Preparation Techniques

With Procera AllCeram you follow your normal procedures. You prepare and cement as you would with a regular core of metal alloy

Recommended dimensions for preparation (figs. 1a and 1b). The preparation is characterized by thinned margins and a cutting with rounded inner angles and edges (figs. 2a and 2b).

Crown

Keep the occlusal surface as flat as possible (fig. 3a) Do not create a deep cavity (fig. 3b) as this will make it difficult for the laboratory to scan the die. Make sure the apex of the diamond does not pass the edge of the margin and create a groove inside the margin (figs. 4a and 4b).
